A. General objective

1.       The objectives are to protect the environment, to improve knowledge on the natural and environmental infrastructure and support adjustment to the community environmental standards.

2.       Security in the sense of protecting the land and water resources and quality which implies exploitation of the environmental heritage are considered and transformed into interventions by the measure.

3.      Particular attention is given to the interventions that will favor an integrated approach to the resolution of the environmental problems and the treatment of municipal waste.

B. Some of specific objectives of the “G & G group” projects are as follows:

·         Compilation of the detailed environmental map, geo-hazards map, environmental hazards map, and a detailed geo-database of the Albania area.

·         Compilation of detailed plans for “Management of Municipality Solid Waste” and “Management of Municipality Sewage Waters” enabling local government to attract potential investors to implement and give a solution to waste issues.

·         Minimisation of environmental impacts of the tourism developing industry in the area through a detailed and thorough EIA.

·         Rehabilitation of environmental and resources

C. “G & G group” company consisted of more than 30 scientist and experts, who are capable to manage and solve the following components:

·         Marketing Plan “Campaign for raising the awareness of communities, business operators, and public institutions”

·         Geo-Environmental Study (coastline shifting, subsidence, landslide etc.);

·         Action Plan for “Management and Treatment of Hazardous Waste”;

·         Action Plan for  “Management and Treatment of Municipality Solid Waste”;

·         Action Plan  for “Management and Treatment of Urban Sewage Waters”;

·         Environmental Impact Assessment “Tourism Industry Development”;

·         Action Plan for “Environmental Monitoring System design and implementation”;

·         Rehabilitation of existing municipal waste damping site;

·         Exploration and Discoveries in hydrocarbon field;

·         Exploration and Discoveries in drinkable waters;

·         Carrier and surface mining (mountains, river beds, etc)

\

D. The “G & G group” scientists and experts provide very good results by assessing the quantitative analysis of the following items:

·         geotechnical soil parameters and features;

·         geological studies (lithological facie and sedimentary environments);

·         geomorphologic studies (soil types, relief, morphometry, land use);

·         underground water resources;

·         hydrological environment;

·         ecological resources (individual biotypes and their main habitats); environmental resources;

E. Implementation of the “G & G group” projects results in the following environmental impacts:

-          Minimization of the pollution in the sea and coast-line;

-          Rehabilitation of underground waters;

-          Rehabilitation of biodiversity elements;

-          Recuperation of woodland areas
